Limited Warranties and Return Polices >>>

HP-branded hardware products purchased in the U.S. or Canada through SalonTechnologies, Inc. come with a 90 day limited warranty. Additional warranties for your hardware can be purchased directly from HP at www.hp.com.

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your-our end-user customer's-HP-branded hardware products, including HP-branded peripheral products.
This limited warranty does not cover:
Problems that result from:
- External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse or problems with electrical power.
- Servicing not authorized by HP.
- Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions.
- Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
- Problems caused by using accessories, Parts or components not supplied by HP.
- Problems with Missing or altered Service tags or serial numbers.
- Products that have not been paid for.

HP-branded hardware under HP warranty should be returned to HP, not SalonTechnologies. Please remember to back-up your data before returning your hardware. It is most likely your data will be lost during repair or replacement.

SalonTechnologies software products purchased in the U.S. or Canada come with a 1-year or 2-year limited warranty, depending on the product purchased. To determine which warranty came with your software package, see your packing slip or invoice or on-line account.

Extended warranties can be purchased at any time at www.salontechnologies.com. These warranties also include service and support.

When you contact us, we will issue a return Material Authorization Number for you to include with your returned hardware bundled package. You must return the products to us in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges and insure the shipment or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged in the shipment. We will return the repaired or replaced products to you if you use an address in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. possessions and territories). Otherwise, we will ship the product to you freight collect.

If we determine that the problem is not covered under this warranty, we will notify you and inform you of service alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis. SalonTechnologies Return Policy (U.S. only)

SalonTechnologies values our relationship with you and offers a return policy for most products that you purchase directly from SalonTechnologies. Under this policy, you may return to SalonTechnologies, within the applicable return policy period, products that you purchase directly from SalonTechnologies for credit or a refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees of fifteen percent.

All downloads will be refundable within 14 days from the date on the invoice. Software installed on the HP handheld by SalonTechnologies may not be refunded unless you return the entire computer/software package under the 14 day return policy.

Return and refunded software will follow verification procedure. You must provide all account information including codes for refund. Once you follow our uninstall procedure, your software will give you a secret code that you will give to us to verify the de-activation of the software; at which time a refund will be generated and a Return Authorization Number will be given to you. The hardware must be returned within five days of the Return Authorization Number by Federal Express or UPS following the same warranty policy.

Technical Disclaimer

SalonTechnologies formulas are for reference purpose only. The end result may vary. Therefore, formulas may need to be adjusted to each individual's specific hair type. These formulas are based on average hair texture and density. SalonTechnologies software is developed for the exclusive use of licensed cosmetologists only. A patch test is required before each application. SalonTechnologies software is to be used with your hair color company's educational hair color system.

Ordering Policy

All orders placed by 2:00PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2:00PM Easter Standard Time (EST) are shipped the next business day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are shipped on Monday. Orders placed on a holiday will be shipped the next business day.

Shipping Policy

Shipping options include: Standard Shipping (7-14 business days), Priority Shipping (Up to 7 business days), and Rush Shipping (Up to 3 business days).

All purchases valued over $100 will require your signature at time of delivery. All items are insured in the event that your order should become lost, damaged, stolen or undelivered during the shipping process.

Same Day Shipping: If you place your order before 2:00PM EST Monday through Friday and the products are in stock, your order will be shipped that same day. SalonTechnologies does not ship orders on Saturday or Sunday or on holidays.

SalonTechnologies cannot ship or deliver products to Post Office Boxes and APO Addresses.

Shipments are subject to stock availability. We will notify you via e-mail or telephone within 1 business day if a product is out of stock or back-ordered.

Sales Tax

SalonTechnologies is located in the state of New York and is required by law to withold 8.00% sales tax for all purchases within New York State. If you live or are purchasing outside the State of New York, you do not pay sales tax!!

Warranty

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION). SALONTECHNOLOGIES AND HP'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTION AND DEFECTS IN SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD REFLECTED ON YOUR PACKING SLIP OR INVOICE. NO WARANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

SALONTECHNOLOGIES AND HP DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR FOR CONSEQUENCIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES, FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR LOST DATA OR LOST SOFTWARE. SALONTECHNOLOGIES AND HP'S LIABILITY WILL BE NO MORE THAN THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF THE CLAIM. THIS IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR WHICH THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE. THE LIMITED WARRANTY LASTS FOR THE TIME PERIOD INDICATED ON YOUR PACKING SLIP OR INVOICE.
